A tree native to Chile, boldo is South America's great folk remedy for 'when the liver won't forgive'. The boldine in its leaves stimulates bile production and release, easing the digestion of fats. Its aromatic, slightly bitter infusion is the classic after-meal digestive of the Southern Cone.

How to prepare it
