Traditionally gathered at St John's Eve when its yellow flowers peak, this is the most studied plant remedy for mild low mood: hypericin and hyperforin influence mood neurotransmitters. Its red, sun-macerated oil is also a great skin repairer. It is, however, the plant with the most known drug interactions — always ask first.
